[ACN JP/Asia] - Taiko no Tatsujin x Touhou Project Campaign 2024!
One day prior to the yearly Autumn Reitaisai, here we are with this year's full-on details about the returning Touhou Project collaboration for Nijiiro players, available at the dedicated subpage of the ongoing arcade line's website.
This Banapassport-involving campaign will run from November 20th, 2024 to February 11th, 2025 and will be available for Nijiiro players from Japan and General Asia (please note that this campaign's edition is not extended to Mainland China Nijiiro arcades).

Starting up on (limited) arcade shores, we took quite a while to get on this bit of news here because we've had to withdraw our copyright registration claims on the 'obligatory yearly ancient meme 2hu song for Autumn Reitaisai' expression, as it turns out to be unaccurate for 2022- have a more recent meme tune instead! The same song and dance from past years will unfold: limited debut at this year's Autumn Reitaisai (October 23rd) and publicly playable on arcade Taikos from the start of the next (date unannaounced as of yet) Taiko x Touhou campaign.

Another Touhou-themed convention has come and gone, with attender-powered crumbles of news bits concerning the soon-to-be-public new duo of playable arranges.
For this year, we've also been to fetch a video of one of the two songs!... at first, only to have it removed from Youtube hours after. Luckily for us, it has stayed up enough time to let other people recreate the original notechart for PC Taiko simulation means.
[UPDATE] (09/10/19) - And now, even the Taikojiro recreation video has been removed! Yaaaay...

Namco Taiko Blog (27 September 2019) - 5th Taiko x Touhou Collab, Some Addendums
Yesterday, we caught notice of the opening of the latest promo page about the next arcade Taiko campaign, and today we're getting a couple more details about it.
Mainly, we now know that some of the 5th Touhou Project collaboration's Donder Hiroba promo outlets (namely, the two new-elements gachas) will be launched at a later late than the collaboration's start, on October 17th. Why that date, you ask? Apparently it's because the two Reitaisai-preview songs will make their debut on public Green Version builds on the same day!

A little over a week before its beginning, the details for the recurring Autumn-start raffles for Touhou Project customizable flairs are already out, in anticipation of the songs that are going to premiere in the next Autumn Reitaisai convention.
This time around, the campaign will be run from October 3rd to November 17th!

Namco Taiko Blog (11 July 2019) - Girls Are Polling... A Taiko-Themed Touhou Survey
In today's blog entry from the team, we've come to know that there's the intention to add more Touhou Project playable arrangements into the ongoing arcade line. This time around, however, they're open to suggestions from the player base, no less!
From today until July 21st, a small poll has been opened (link here) in order to let people choose up to three song preferences among existing Touhou Project arrangements to be added in a later day to Green Version arcades. While the poll is open to everyone, the results of it won't be made public.
If you're interested in taking part to the action, don't forget to fill in the other four inquiries in the form: which songs and game modes do you play the most on the arcade line, the Japanese prefecture of residence and your gender.

Touhou Project Collaboration, The Fourth
With Taiko no Tatsujin back at the Touhou-themed Reitaisai action, it seems suitable to once again hold a full-blown collab campaign to go with it. This time it begins together with the update on October 23 and ends on December 2.
How do you participate in the collab event this time? By playing Taiko no Tatsujin Blue ver. arcade with Banapassport (or equivalent), you earn one ticket for every credit. With the tickets you can redeem Petit-charas and title parts from the Donder Hiroba.
The top rewards this time are the new Marisa Kirisame (White) (霧雨魔理沙 (白)) and returning Reimu Hakurei (Blue) (博麗霊夢 (青)) at only 1000 of each available to all. You can use 3 tickets to redeem a drawing chance. Otherwise save up for the other new Reimu Hakurei & Marisa Kirisame (博麗霊夢＆霧雨魔理沙) pair Petit-chara for 10 tickets. Other returning Petit-charas and title parts are available at 1 ticket each.

Geddit? Because Maou's damaged illustration is him turned back, so the hits land on his butt? No? ...okay.
The special Performance Battle Mode event was slated to end on October 17, but that would be slightly dumb when the new update is coming on the 23rd. Therefore the event is now extended for five more days to end on October 22. Check our previous coverage for how it all started.
And what's this? There are going to be more additions to the Performance Battle with this update? I don't sea any other info or visuals here so I guess they want to leave it for a later date. (Thanks Deadwantsha from the Discord for digging the sand castle)
