This month in Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version DLC features five individually sold tracks and the fifth instalment of the Touhou Project Arrange Pack (東方Projectアレンジパック).

Released today (2021/06/25) is a version update for the Apple Arcade-exclusive title Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat. Besides the long-awaited bump to the total track count (by 10), the game now also features a Ranking Window showing the worldwide leaderboards for each track and the ability to keep up to three separate player profiles.

Namco Taiko Blog (2021/06/24): Track List Stratified Once Again: Nijiiro June 2021 Update

Taiko no Tatsujin (March 2020/Nijiiro ver.) gets another version update on 2021/06/30 (no info on greater Asia), just one month after the previous. Outside of your normal slew of new track additions, it also brings back one beloved mechanic for the classic Performance Game mode.

Addendum (2021/06/30): Equivalent update for greater Asia confirmed for 2021/07/01, net of the three track additions but includes Select by Difficulty function (official Facebook).

But first, clear your schedules for Taiko no Tatsujin 20th Anniversary Commemoration! Announcing Long-awaited Info on Official MyBachi with a Bam!! Six years on this very day was the release date of the now-discontinued Synchronica line, Bandai Namco's arcade-... yes, we have used this opening befor-... yes, it is apparently an annual thing now.

Like Synchronica Airlines last year, the official Synchronica Twitter handle (@Synchronica_prj) called beyond the grave of the game's online service to let us know that more of its original compositions are being ported into the Taiko no Tatsujin repertoire. In fact, Mifumei's Yurame (preview) is already available on Nijiiro ver. today (2021/06/18) in all locales, while SueP's Kakenukete-yuku (preview) will join at a later date.
