Starting up on (limited) arcade shores, we took quite a while to get on this bit of news here because we've had to withdraw our copyright registration claims on the 'obligatory yearly ancient meme 2hu song for Autumn Reitaisai' expression, as it turns out to be unaccurate for 2022- have a more recent meme tune instead! The same song and dance from past years will unfold: limited debut at this year's Autumn Reitaisai (October 23rd) and publicly playable on arcade Taikos from the start of the next (date unannaounced as of yet) Taiko x Touhou campaign.

In more current news, while Taiko no Tatsujin has long since done away with named version changes for the arcade front, Sega's CHUNITHM still takes that approach with the latest installment (CHUNITHM SUN) releasing tomorrow (2022/10/13).
