Namco has a habit of making 'song series', or many different songs sharing a common theme and characteristics, and therefore can be grouped. In this page, you'll find some of the most memorable group of songs who are linked together for either their title, creator or media of origin, as long as there are at least three songs in said series.
The song series are mostly made of Namco Original songs, and to be honest, it's quite hard to appreciate each series unless you're a big Taiko fan. Anyone who's interested enough to listen to and challenge the Namco Original genre will find the trivia and backstory behind each series very interesting. Songs like this are not just something you play and then forget.
Some of the songs appearing in the series features below were already (at the time) covered in our Song of the Week corner; for the sake of consistency, their portions will be nearly the same ones as their original SotW articles, eventually updated with new piece of trivia from the first feature.
In this Series Showcase page you can also check out selected Corners that group a much larger scope of songs (even entire song genres!) with brief details to the main performers/media involved, as well as the Special Notecount Values and Taiko Guinness Hall pages for more numbers-related trivia among Taiko songs in general.

Jumbo Brand Corners
When an external franchise/brand gets enough musical recognition in the Taiko series to have more than 20 songs, these brands are expanded on this blog by hosting them in dedicated pages, briefly listing the many outings of said brands and the songs from each branch which made it into Taiko gaming, always sorted by chronological release.
Some of the jumbo brand corners below often touch the majority of the tracks released for their Taiko music genre of provenience, if not its entire genre altogether.
