Sonority Scouts - Hakurei Shrine's Autumn Troopers / 2019 Edition

The next 1-day Reitaisai convention is upon us and, alongside Bandai Namco's Taiko franchise, other music games are joining the fray with their own share of event-limited features and goodies to be fetched. This post, as usual, is all about them!

This Autumnal outing has the SOUND VOLTEX series M.I.A., thus borrowing the 'otoge king of Touhou' scepter to Taito's Groove Coaster venue presence. A brand new console outing for the series is about to come, and between default additions and early DLCs there are going to be 25 Touhou songs from Day1, all of which can be tried out during tomorrow's Reitaisai event! Arcades from the ongoing line will be avavilable as well.

The related event website page, included in the tweet, will also lead to the list of purchasable goodies for this edition, from the past outings' GCxTouhou albums to a new one with popular covers being sung by prominent V-tubers. If you're a fan of artist CHANxCO's designs, don't miss out the Reimu and Marisa clear files!

Sega's presence at the venue is punctuated to all its ongoing music arcade lines -maimai DELUXE, CHUNITHM and Ongeki- being freely playable to all attenders, alongside Touhou-themed goods for sale and a campaign for Ongeki players. Until supplies are left, get your hands on a promotional card of Kaguya Houraisan, free of charge!

Closing the roster for this year's edition is the arcade music gaming newbie of the fray: Marvelous's WACCA (no relation to any blitzballers out there). The emerging music game is about to get its first serving of Touhou Project arrangments, and Reitaisai attenders will be able to try six of them a long way prior to their public debut! All of them have been music game travelers in the past, so chances are these names/album jackets might ring familiar to a lot of our readers from several gaming fronts.
