Right on the hot winds of Etou's surprise announcement of a brand new Taiko song-making contest in the horizon, here's anouth of the last round's lucky candidates to win the hearts of the Taiko Team's finer specimen and to become a playable tune, albeit without the originally-intended World Championships tournament frame, Incidentally, it's also from the same artist whose former contest-winning song was used for the Final round of one of the past editions! Indeed, this pre-Easter treat is offered to us by the returning K.key (Twitter; SoundCloud; new YouTube channel), the same composer behind the Namco Original track Gloria.
This is also not the first track of his appearing in the Faith Creation-era public showdowns: for the 2020 edition, K.key has joined it with a track caslled Quest, which was also republished on his own YT channel later on (link); Taiko Team's Etou could read the hardships that went through its creation, but its complex structure and a lack of cohesion to his ears ultimately made it land as one of the Silver-award Honorable Mentions instead. The succeeding song that made the hat trick happen once more, however, has received the praises of SueP, once again penning on how its structure can stimulate every heart from its depths and make it shine during the heated tournament grounds the song was originally aimed too... a sentiment that was also shared for Gloria by SueP's precursor judges, but on a song that has a charm of its own! In the time gap between the two songs' release, K.key also had his song Gift box becoming a playable addition to Peropero Games's Muse Dash and, later down the line, Groove Coaster thanks to a collaboration between the two series.
It's a big world of hurt when Gloria's mono-tempo-signature challenge gets a successor in a faster song that plays around 1/12 and 1/24 charting into the mix, isn't it? For those of you who are willing to try the song heads-on during its first days in the game centers, be sure to search for it inside the song list manually, as for some reason (possibly a mistake of sorts) it hasn't been included inside the World Championships 2021 custom folder as of yet, alongside all the other winners from the same 2021 song-making contest.
