[Out of the Shadows] - FREEDOM DiVE (Back into the Dephts of Hell, and Never Crawl Back)

Give yourself a pat on the back, as you've found yet another hidden page! Here lies Lokamp's original rant on the song FREEDOM DiVE↓, taken from its future-sight Song of the Week entry.

DISCLAIMER: The opinions being reported here don't represent the beliefs of all the Taiko Time staff members, only Lokamp's (unless otherwise specified).

------------------------------------------------

And, so, until the song's Taiko release comes by, that's pretty much everything I ever have to say about xi's FREEDOM DiVE↓.

...

...

...actually, I might have something else to s-THIS SONG SUCKS BEYOND FUCKING COMPARE!! How the fuck is it possible for this glorified turbo-trash to get in so many fucking places?!? Is your average music game-playing crowd soooo desperate and starving for 'template songs for incredibly hard difficulty charts' to resort on such a disgust of a fast song every single time?!?!?

To all those people who ironically (or not) joke on how 'Freedom Dive is an osu! original song or whatever', and to the people complaining -hyronically or not- about such trend happening anywhere, I'd like to ask the following instead: why not focus on the real core of the problem instead?... with that core problem being 'HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU IDOLATRIZING SUCH A BAD SONG AT ALL???' I'd rather pull out a truck out of swampy waters with only a rope to pull with my buttcheeks clenched in-between with an headphone set stapled at my ears that plays nothing but fucking Hatsune Miku songs from here to the rest of eternity, than even entertain my mind with the wild idea of giving one more earing of what could be better described by me as ultimate auditory diabetes. I'm dead. Fucking. Serious.

If I could gamble on a dice match with xi on the state of existence of this rancid, Button-Mashing Shithole from any time and plane of existence, I'd give it a try on a heartbeat just to spare the few unaware people out there who run the risk into dealing with such repulsive filth. I mean seriously, what were they thinking when they decided that adding such a disgrace would have been a good idea?... no wait, I stand corrected. What were WEthinking, as the collective Taiko community, to lead such a decade-old calamity to victory in that PS4 DLC poll without finding a better alternative?!?

At the end of the day, that's the worst thing to come out of this whole debacle... this was a 100% avoidable incident to happen, had it appeared a better song alternative to take the lead. I mean, during those polls for the PS Vita DLC there were better ideas to become playable songs, so if such a disaster was avoided once, why did it happen now?.. ...I suppose to be part of the minority to whine about this inclusion, seeing how the results are already out, so if you're rejoicing over the news of Freedom Dive becoming playable has made your day, good for you! Just, don't expect that your 'bombastic masterpiece' to be recognized as such by everyone on the planet, that's all.

By this point, all that it's left for me to do is to accept the result.

Lie on it.

Going through the process of forgetting about it.

One Moscow Mule at a time...
