[RUMOR] - Potential New Taiko no Tatsujin Game's Achievement Set Leak

Thanks to a number of tips from the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours board, we came across new pieces of leaked data that all but lead to further speculation about the two unannounced Taiko no Tatsujin games whose patents would seemingly be registered a few weeks back.

Under what we can assume to be a placeholder title, in fact -T Tablet_for_XC- lie about 90 achievements donning Taiko-flavored icons and familiar objectives to tally from former games that all lead to be belonging to an unannounced Taiko no Tatsujin game. Would this be a legit leak, some preliminary tidbits about the title behind it are already surfacing:
  • The title alone, ending with "for XC", may lead to believe that this is going to be a digital-only game for XCloud, preliminary name for the Microsoft company's cloud service aimed at their latest xBox consoles and PC;
  • Song genre and outfit customization seem to adhere to the ongoing arcade standard with features such as "mini-characters" (ie: Petit Chara) and mentions of rainbow crowns for Donder-Full Combo clears, with the exclusion of the Kids genre not being available at all;
  • Launch content is going to be unlocked through an ingame shop, featuring over 15 unlockable songs, 30+ Taiko sounds (instruments), 100+ outfit parts, 50+ user titles and 50+ user greetings.
In addition to this, the ongoing online leaks around the NVidia GeForce Now -the graphics card manufacturer's own PC streaming service- seem to further solidify the existence of a PC-bound Taiko game with a couple of entries being reserved for a generically-titled Taiko no Tatsujin game.

It would be a good time to round up some of our recent unresolved rumors in terms of trademark registrations:
  • "Donderful Festival" (ドンダフル フェスティバル) registered with the Japan Patent Office (2021-096769) in early August
  • "Rhythm Festival" registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (97104616) and Canadian Intellectual Property Office (2145243) in early November
  • "The Drum Master" registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (97104624), the Japan Patent Office (2021-135922) and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (2145242) in early November
You can search for the public records for the Japan Patent Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office by the application/registration numbers we have quoted above.

Considering how we're bound to have a new Taiko Team livestream session coming up next week, are we nigh to a proper gaming announcement backing up this trail of digital crumbs... or something else altogether?
