The Taiko no Tatsujin 20th Anniversary was a great success, but the Team is still going strong with live delieveries... so much so that a rough version of that past sentence here has become the title for the December 2021 broadcast! (太鼓の達人20周年大盛況！まだまだ続くドン生配信！)

First things first, while the main arcade tournament shenanigans are still postponed to a nebulous 'TBA 2021', there's still going to be some tournament action... as an online tournament! Spanning for 4 consecutive weeks in a row, the Taiko no Tatsujin World Championship 2021 Gaiden @ Online will let Nijiiro arcade players everywhere to square off in this interlude event.
Registrations for the competition will all take place in the Donder Hiroba online platform, thus making this a Banapassport-holders-only event. Whoever scores the highest among a set pool of songs overall will be the winner!

The 10 songs the contestants will have to play for the event (oni Oni mode) have also been revealed, starring both the first batch of Faith Creation contest winners from the last run and former arcade championships' Finals song.
The Gaiden @ Online top scorers (up to the 100th placement) will be awarded with an exclusive title, but every participant will still receive an exclusive customization title the same!
Right after the arcade tourney talk (and the evergreen reminder of minding the ongoing viral sensation while outside), the 20th Anniversary ambassador Soshina makes a short cameo to remind all viewers of the limited AI Battle Performance campaign starring himself, with Etou livetesting it no less! Right after that was the main bulk of this one livestream: the Arcade branch AMA corner! No console talk for this rendition as Etou and Kimizu repeat the true-and-tried ritual of drawing fan inquiries from a box to reply at. Among those, questions like "Will a Start Dash Campaign like 2020's be repeated again?" and "Can we have some more not-Namco Original songs, too?" have been read and replied to!
One last nugget of info for the day comes in form of song reveals, playing half a minute from two of the remaining Taiko de Time travel song project. Linda AI-CUE's next iteration for the 2000 series will premiere next week as a Weekend Warrior, while we'll have to wait next year for Camellia's Namco Original debut!
