On the seventh day of Christmas, Acidity has sent to me:

Kanzen Houki Sengen (完全放棄宣言) Akari Nanawo

A YouTube-spawn sensation is on our spotlight today! Meet Akari Nanawo (ナナヲアカリ),
a 26-aged musician and video-sharing personality from the Osaka prefecture whose growing love for music getting shared online is netting her quite the wonderous popularity! A fan of Anime and Vocaloid music (particularly from producer DECO*27), her passion for the Bump of Chicken discography and the discovery of online-sharing video platforms like the Google-acquired digital giant has inspired her to become an independent composer in 2011, posting her craft both there and on Nicovideo as well as co-hosting a radio programme for a while (Rock Brothers). As time went by, Akari Nanawo managed to strike many a collaboration piece with many a prominent composer -including her favourite Vocaloid one, DECO*27!- and eventually landed an ongoing label deal under Sony Music Associated Records from 2018, lending her songs to also become opening themes for Anime shows including Happy Sugar Life, Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It and Warriors of Sigrdrifa.

Despite the rise to fame, YouTube still is the vehicle where most of her upcoming songs travel first, which is also the very case of Kanzen Houki Sengen (lit. 'Complete Abandonment Declaration'), the album-opener of late-2020's Nanakorobi Nanaoki (七転七起), Akari Nanawo's 4th major album release. Overall, it's her 25th song release, co-written with the nick-named Tamaya2060% (玉屋2060%) and gathering 11 million views online in a little over a year!
