[ACN] - Outsider Chimes of Future Song Removals

Addendum (2023/01/20): all information confirmed in Namco Taiko Blog.

We usually get to hear with the aid of a dedicated blog entry about the next song removals in line for the ongoing arcade family, but this time around it looks like we have another equally-official source to draw these kinds of notice, through a FAQ section on the Bandai Namco Amusement website that was last updated 12 days ago.

The following trio of songs was profiled to leave Nijiiro cabs (the Japanese ones only, we imagine) on February 20th at the familiar Japan time hour:

March 2020/Nijiiro ver. Farewell Tracks

	Title
	2023/02/20 07:00 (all locales)
	Youkoso Japari Park e Doubutsu Biscuits×PPP/Kemono Friends ようこそジャパリパークへ 　　どうぶつビスケッツ×PPP 「けものフレンズ」より Also in: PS4, NS2 (MP), Plus/STH	★2	★2	★4	★7
	2023/02/20 07:00 (greater Asia Only)
	Hero Namie Amuro 　　安室奈美恵 　　AC0/ACN exclusive	★2	★3	★3	★7
	2023/02/20 07:00 (Japan Only)
	Spread the Wings!! The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors 　　「アイドルマスター シャイニーカラーズ」より Also in: PS4 (DL)	★3	★4	★4	★6

Given how similar removals have ran down, we can speculate its inner specifics:

• Usage of the songs in Donder Hiroba tournaments and challenges is terminating earlier (we currently speculate sometime around 2023/02/02 00:00)
• Crown totals will be adjusted with the removal as of 2023/02/20 02:00
• Scores and rankings on Donder Hiroba will be closed off starting 2023/02/20 07:00
• If you have set any of the songs as a favourite, the slot will be changed back to unspecified as of 2023/02/20 07:00.

[xBox/WinPC] - The Game Pass Departure Master

Users of the xBox Game Pass service might have already caught wind of the fact that one of the most recent Taiko no Tatsujin games -The Drum Master- is one of the next titles that are leaving the subscription-based program at the end of this January, meaning that only a digital purchase of the game will allow users to enjoy it afterwards.

Much like former game deletions from the service, a 20% discount is offered to ongoing Game Pass players in order to purchase any of the soon-leaving titles, the PC-friendly Taiko game very much included. This has nothing to do about the actual game's DLC longevity for the point being, but seeing as the game is about to turn one year old, we'll have to wait for further developments on whether is this a service-discontinuation telltale sign or not.

One of the highlights of the third Taiko gaming generation was the franchise's involvment in the then-labeled Arcade Operator Unit's Tenkaichi Otogesai tournaments, gathering players to compete in multiple rhythm games with plenty of shared tracks between each series from old to tailor-made for these events. Sadly, this series is now a thing of the past, but that apparently didn't stop its discontinued Twitter handle to deliver this one tweet, today...

In what we could call a Synchronica Twitter handle moment, the Tenkaichi Otogesai account has shared from beyond the competition grave that a dedicated YouTube channel for the former editions of the event has been opened, with the full uploads of the finals held at JAEPO for each of its 5 different iterations. Feel free to hop along and bask at an event that only the attenders of the time could witness firsthand!

You can check out the just-opened YT channel with this link.
