Except for a quick reminder on top of yesterday's blog entry concerning the next couple of Hololive songs' arcade coming, we've got quite the trove of reveals for those who want to let others see their drumming prowess on a public level, in more than a way...
-) Taiko WCS 2023 Gaiden @ Online Starting Soon!
We're drawing closer to that January 17th starting date! Have a ball with a selection of the first Columbia Makes contest's winners with other Banapassport owners online on Oni and see if you can stand at the top when the deadline of February 19th hits! Much like the last @Online venue, both participation and special awards will be handed in title parts.
And just like last year, the winner reel will be revealed during quite the live venue...
-) New Taiko no Tatsujin Live Broadcast!
Also happening on February 19th is a new livestream session with Etou and Kimizu; seeing how this one is just two days shy from the franchise's anniversary date, chances are there's something more brewing behind the scenes, than just the obligatory WCS winners reel...
Just like for the more recent past venues, an online polling form will be held for arcade Taiko-related questions. If something tickles your fancy about the game center-versed family, pitch your question in there and who knows- one of the next blind-box question to be replied to live might be yours!
The form is available at this here link.
-) Taiko no Tatsujin @ JAEPO 2023 feat. the Realest Ranking Dojo Yet!
One of the yearly IRL appointments for the development team to publicly show off the latest of Taiko gizmos, Nijiiro Version arcades will return in JAEPO for this year's edition, on February 11th, 11am-5pm Japan time. Rather than showcasing contents/firmwares that are yet to come, this time around there's going to be quite the unique way to attest one's prowess live on stage...
With the fun monicker of Real Ranking Dojo (リアル段位道場), select members of the Taiko Team will welcome Banapassport users with an active Donder Hiroba account to play a Ranking Dojo on stage between 1st-Dan, 5th-Dan or 10th-Dan and if a clear is achieved, the winning player will get a bona fide paper certificate of the accomplishment, complete with Donder Hiroba nick and all!
For those who are planning to attend the event at JAEPO, keep in mind the following pointer in order to be able to participate:
- Only one attempt is allowed, in one of the three allowed Ranking Dojo trials alone;
- Application must be made only with your personal Banapassport and Donder Hiroba accounts;
- Keep a smartphone ready to log in your own Donder Hiroba profile at the venue, in order to let the staff confirm your identity for the certificate;
- Certificate winners' data on it (Nickname/Cleared Dan/Dan Clear Kind/Date of Certification) might be used for Taiko no Tatsujin-related content in the future.
Real Ranking Dojo numbered tickets to join the event will be handed out in the morning (an hour before the Taiko no Tatsujin JAEPO stand's opening) and in the afternoon at the venue day alone, with the chance of afternoon tickets being handed out with a lottery draw method in case of a huge number of applicants for the event.
