For artist involvment like Capchii's who made it as a commission artist first and as a contest-winner later, there are plenty of cases where instead the happestance of winning an original song contest paves the way for its creator to receive more commissioned Namco Original works in the aftermath! One such case as of late concerns the nick-named Versus (Twitter), who managed to score two extra Namco Original seats after winning the Taiko Team judges' hearts with his Kagayaki o Motomete. This song in particular is also the first Namco Original in the series to star a Vsinger for its vocals!
One of Versus' strongest music-related affiliation has as of late -under his main alias of Yassun (やっすん) as well- is with the online music act of NoWorld, with its main members NoiR, Dew Platty (デュー・プラティー) and Hizumi (ハイズミ) sharing the goal to 'express their world with music', also thanks to the help of guest artists as well as singers who perform under animated aliases, hence the term 'virtual singers'. Among these is the black-haired Ayame Shirakura (白黒黒白), one of the earliest ones to join the YouTube-born act with both covers and original songs. After our Versus (as Yassun) has lend his helping hand in the making of NoWorld songs with Ayane Shirakura such as last answer, the digital performer has lent him a hand as the singer of Drawin' Dream, while also joined by another NoWorld-associated artist -Hayashi "Carlos" Ryuji (林”カルロス”隆治)- as the Namco Original's guitarist.
The resulting Oni charting job for this Versus track is not that dissimilar to other recent backbeat-based notecharts a-la Sugar Song to Bitter Step, with the added extra perk of of a Yuugao no Kimi-winking section where the BPM is double. Watch out for that one pesky cluster, during that section!
