First Video: Nijiiro Version V12.22's New Songs

The Asia-unifying Banapassport update for the ongoing arcade line is live at last, and with it is also the latest song batch! Among these we also have this lucky licensed renewal from the 1st arcade generation, which can bolster both a new cover version since the one adopted for its previous foray and a renewed notechart set whose Oni mode arrangement puts the trickiest bits to the end rather than the beginning, which was the very case for Sore na Daiji's Donderful chart.

The HQ recordings of the newcoming songs lie after the jump, as usual!

Today's leftover 7-star Oni contenders stand before your eyes: the latest Re:Zero OP with its dangerous pace mixing big/small notes alike and the latest hit from Pretender's makers, proving to the Taiko crowd how you donb't need to be a slow ballad in order for your licensed hit to be charted as a slow-flowing scrolling gauntlet focused on handswitching!

The remaining licensed debutants for the day do also share the same Oni rating, albeit one star higher than the past picks! The Vocaloid-powered Teo powers through with an Angel-Dream-reminiscing speedy chart that loves its monocolor clusters during its Go-Go Time, while the latest representative of the just-resurging Variety genre plays it even slower on the scrolling speed department for its violin-punctuated Taiko notechart.

Another couple of 8-star Oni coming up, and they're the second-to-last winners from the Faith Creation song contest! Amaterasu JK bolsters a more aggressive speedy mood with tricky handwswitch passages that mostly involve 3-note clusters with consecutive Kat note couples, while the veteran SOUND VOLTEX contest winner's Taiko debut plays under the more technical side of the difficulty spectrum with tempo changes and a note stream thrown into the mix.

Closing the latest original song contest circle with a band, we have a couple of top-difficulty Oni juggernauts in the returning Yomii's latest piece and the newcoming Dokuwaki's crowned victors.

While tackling the piano-based LECIEL GLISSANDO is more of a rhythm-decoding matters with its many tempo changes on a fast pace, what you see in Aka to Shiro Bara no Majo is exactly what you get: a semi-constant influx of note-pounding action to put former stream contenders like Aka no Senritsu to shame!
