First on the docket is Hoshikage no Yell by GReeeeN for the TV drama series Yell, after an 8-year gap of Taiko no Tatsujin inclusions (last new inclusion was Misenai Namida wa, Kitta Itsuka in 3DS1). The notechart is mild on the ★5 scale on a low speed (84.67BPM), although the 12th-focused base structure may be unfamiliar to Donders new to this level. The 1.3× speed modifier on the 4th-gen arcade should help by reverting back to a more-familiar structure (16th base on apparent 110BPM).

SongID: hkyell (Hoshikage no Yell)

Kanden, on the other hand, is from Kenshi Yonezu who has been consistently prolific in Taiko no Tatsujin (last new inclusion was Peace Sign in Nijiiro ver. launch). Similar to Hakujitsu in terms of the 12th/24th-base structure but a bit faster (103BPM), the cut into the vocal part in the beginning may be the singular hurdle against Full Combo-ing the otherwise modest ★8.

SongID: ynzkdn (Yonezu + Kanden)

As the only new track to the pack that boasts nostalgia for the 1st and 2nd generation of Taiko no Tatsujin, Wavy Baby lands slightly lower along the ★9 spectrum with the speed (210BPM) being the major hurdle. Patterns are common and simplistic for the majority.

SongID: wavybb (Wavy Baby)

Finally the problem-child of the day. The new ★10 Ura Oni notechart to Dodododo-donderful! makes full nod to the theme of tougue-twisters (早口言葉 hayakuchi kotoba, lit. quick-mouth words) by having select sections run at double scroll speed.

Compared with the regular, way more actual-16th streams at the original about-200BPM signature are added, likely to make well of the goroawase reference (to hayakuchi kotoba) in the 889-note count.
