Once again, its Vocaloid time, and it's not just to give to one of our staffers some cheap spooks. With about one month ahead of us from  Dokodon RPG Pack's release, it's quite the prime time to talk about the very last song that is getting added with this gaming re-release, joining the Dokodon! mystery Adventure game alongside the already-discussed Pretender and Gurenge.

Bearing quite the ominous title translation of "Hated by Life Itself.", this is one of those Vocaloid-powered song that bear quite the heavy themes; from bullying to hatred and suicidal behaviour, the digital singer is lead with this track's lyrics to lament on how life hates everyone in this Hall of Legend piece, this first (and currently only) entry for his composer Iori Kanzaki (カンザキイオリ). Released online on August 6th, 2017, nowadays it sits on over 18 million views between Nicovideo and Youtube (with the latter dragging the heavy lift of nearly 15 million of these), while -on the other hand- gathering little recognition in the mainstream rhythm gaming scene, with Sega's maimai being the only other series featuring the track thus far

Starting slow and quickly picking up the pace like fellow Miku song Ghost Rule, the Oni mode for this Vocaloid track is easily comparable to the Muzukashii mode of many a quickly-sped song in the likes of Koibumi 2000, where simple 1/16 charting reigns supreme with some mono-color triplets lurking behind. With little to no special markers, however, caution has to be taken all throughout the track!

In all honesty, we actually -do- have a Halloween-related track to talk about for the frigh-tastic day of October 31st with its pumpkin-based assets in both title and lyrics... problem is, it's not currently out yet! No animal rights organization of sorts is involved for the creation of a song with such name- it's actually a contest-winning track from Bandai Namco's latest competition under the Faith Creation banner! Behind the Yu～Qre (ゆ～くれ) alias lies an indie experimental unit by the name of Yutopia Qremia, in activity since 2016. The act is made of the singer Yuto (ゆと) -bearer of the unit's Twitter account- and two composers: Keyqa (キーカ; Twitter) and REONOAH (レオノア; Twitter). From one of the act's artists on Twitter (link), we get a personal descriptor for the song that the Taiko contest's website couldn't make room for any of the entries: a Lo-fi Hiphop piece that aspires to slip microtonal music into the realm of commercial music, due to its unique usage of folk instruments and incomprehensible peppy lyrics.

This 'devilish, tuplets-dense song' has garnered the graces of contest judge Masubuchi (マスブチ), who compared its mood as an outer-space experience; sure, the rocket liftoff and the change of weight might make yourself sickful at first, but once you accomodate yourself to the alien surroundings, you can find yourself comfortable. Space metaphores aside, the Taiko Team veteran also praised the vocalist' inclusion being like "a single flower blooming in space" as well as the song overall for being academically structured despite looking very wild from the outside. You can totally trust Yuji Masubuchi on this; also from the same comment section, he apparently received "special training" so that he could see such bliss at first sight...

Oni notechart-wise, there really is not a better comparison for this peppy piece than 'Boku wa Synth Mk.II', one-upping the Denji Sano piece on the star rating side while also bearing less notes and engaging in the same multiple-tempo-signature antics.
