Made By You: Chiri Chiri Juso and more

It's been a long time, hasn't it? I've taken a long break from this feature due to real-life commitments, and I'll just try to get a short one up for today.

Last feature, which was forever ago, we missed the request of osu!taiko mapper AxelHino. Since he has another map to feature today, we'll do them both before moving on!

The song above is Chiri Chiri Juso (lit. Dust Dust Curse), a Vocaloid song composed by Kikuo. While not a name that instantly commands attention in the Vocaloid world, Kikuo has had his fair share of successes, mostly with Hatsune Miku. The above song, however, is sung by IA. The song was released on January 2012 to moderate success. Pretty interesting to see the song title using full Kanji.

A slow and steady song with a 7* Oni chart. Though the basic rhythm of the notes remains pretty much the same throughout the song, a variety of note clusters is used, keeping it fresh.

From Vocaloid, we move into another well-trodden area for custom chart makers; Bemani songs. This time Axel made a chart of Siren, which comes from GuitarFreaks/DrumMania V6. The artist name is Sis Bond Chit, but it's actually an alias used by composer Asaki, famed in Bemani for his creepy, horror-themed rock songs. This one is no different, being a slow, meandering song about love beyond the grave. In English, no less.

It's a middle difficulty song on its source game, and it's middle difficulty here as well, largely in part to the low BPM. Together with the basic clusters (which are less dense than in Chiri Chiri Juso), are two-note clusters, which are more prevalent towards the end.

Once more on Bemani grounds in a Dance Dance Revolution song, this time mapped by CoroQuetz. CHAOS is composed by DE-SIRE retunes. Just try to search for the name somewhere; it'll probably be corrected to 'returns'. Opinions are divided on whether it's just a case of broken English or whether the word means that the composer's songs were 're-tuned'. Anyway, it's an alias (one of many) used by Naoki Maeda, a senior composer of DDR songs with a large portfolio, who's currently working with Capcom on the rhythm game CrossxBeats. He is also the one who makes songs for the girl group BeForU (one of our previous features has one of their songs)

The above chart....not difficult enough, is it? Aside from that long killer stream at the end it isn't anything taxing...But have no fear, there's a Ura Oni for this! If you were expecting endless streams and such, it's nothing of the sort, but this Ura plays on tons and tons of scrolling changes, which is different for almost every note in the song! Now this chaotic chart lives up to its name!

Let's go back a bit to everyone's favorite sim: Taikojiro! One of Packer's new songs, it actually uses the voice of a Vocaloid, something called a YOHIOloid. It's a very new program (only about 3 months old) and is for both an English and Japanese voice, provided by the Swedish singer of the same name.

The song is really fast, in contrast to the slow songs we've been seeing so far. At 205 BPM, it's a high speed love song with pretty suggestive elements in its lyrics, and the title is in Chinese and means 'super high speed love clap clap clap separate'. The song is as random as its name suggests, and the chart? Pretty darn frantic, with clusters and streams everywhere, and probably the hardest custom chart in this feature.

Alright, that's all for today and I'll see more of your charts sometime soon!
