[Plus/STH] Gakkyoku Tori Houdai New Songs (2023/03/01) and Nagano Prefecture Collab

March 2023 in the Gakkyoku Tori Houdai subscription for Taiko no Tatsujin Plus has a lot of returning faces: three of the tracks removed from the plan back in 2018-2019 are back, hopefully on a more permanent basis.

Meanwhile we are also picking up on a collaboration that we did not yet have the chance to make a post on the blog when it was announced... yeah let's call it that

Nagano Prefecture Collab

　　Special collab page: https://app.taiko-ch.net/nagano/

Taiko no Tatsujin is not a stranger to collaborating with local municipalities and their mascots to promote the regions. Starting 2023/02/09, Taiko no Tatsujin Plus collaborates with Nagano Prefecture and their PR character Arukuma.

The "Arukuma Dance" version of the prefecture song  Shinano no Kuni has been added to the default song list, as well as Arukuma-inspired Taiko skin and app theme. These elements are expected to stay until 2024/02/08 (13:59 JST).

Song of the Week! 11 February 2023

Thanks to the latest Weekend Warrior addition of today, we did it at long last- for the first time in arcade history, there are now exactly a thousand different songs to be able to be picked up and played, all in the ongoing Gen4 firmware cabinets family.

In order to celebrate such an accolade, February's Ura Spot this year is all on Nijiiro's part!

Namco Taiko Blog (February 9th, 2023) - Nijiiro's Lovesick Update, Competition and Livestreaming Antics

Right after Valentines Day (February 15th), there's going to be a brief Nijiiro software update for the public release of three more tracks, being the front-center topic at hand for today's blog update alongside the... shall we say, "Tourament Elephant in the Room"...

Song of the Week! 4 February 2023

Taiko no Tatsujin has had its plentiful share of heroes... even among its tracks, as you're about to see!

[NS2] - Lovey-Dovey First-Timers: February 2023 Taiko Music Pass Update

In seven days from now, another Music Pass update is bound to add a more generous slew of both console and series firsts for Nintendo Switch players, while also housing the de-facto "Gen3-closer" Taiko Roll outside game centers and smartphone gaming for the first time.

For the last time, however, we also have to remind you of the hololive x Taiko no Tatsujin collaboration, as its final two songs from Takane Lui and Okita SoujiKazama Iroha will drop the week after.
