A sequel to the reoccurring free-outfits campaign is back, albeit with a slight title deviation!
Running from tomorrow (January 14) up until March 15th, the Dress-up Campaign 2025 Winter (きせかえザクザクキャンペーン2025冬) will net all Banapassport players both returning and brand-new Kigurumi customization elements (full-body costumes, 2-part outfits and Petit Charas), simply by playing int the campaign period. The first 10 elements are unlocked in sequence after each credit play, elements 11-20 are unlocked every two credit plays and the final stretch -elements 21-30- is awarded after three credits' worth of playing, one piece at a time. Just don't forget your Banapassport before entering the Song Selection screen! This campaign will air worldwide, with a separate version for mainland China players coming later in the year.
Another couple of topics were digressed in today's blog entry, for which we'll see you after the jump. One of the two, in particular, was brought by the combined efforts of Chinese Donders, no less!
Indeed, the release time for the next entry in the Kikyoku song series is nigh! The sought-after
Keigetsu (桂月 ~Twilight Laurel~) will be made publicly available on January 21st worldwide, after a year's worth of joint collaboration an polling of the Chinese players to plasm every nook and cranny of the song, from charting approaches to its very name. The song will come geared with both Ura Oni and dedicated Sou-Uchi charts, as also highlighted from the official CH Taiko feed for the early-year update feed we've already shared on social feed (related video here), with a portion near the end teasing a few portion of the notecharts in question! (3rd-party YT reupload of the bit in question).
We've mentioned it in the title, but it surely bears repeating- the Taiko no Tatsujin franchise is about to become a quarter-of-a-century-old, a cause for celebration with a February livestream like in the past years! This broadcast, scheduled for a Friday broadcast instead of the usual Sundays (February 21st), will also have a corner where a selection of memories from Donders of all ages will be read live, in place of the usual arcade Q&A corner. If you want to submit yours (in Japanese), the relevant Questant form will be active until January 25th.
