Morpho was the final original song made by ex-BNSI musician Yusuke 'Mifumei' Yamauchi (ミフメイ) before his departure from the company, originally debuting as a weekend warrior for Nijiiro Version's 5th operational year and joining the everlasting Donderful/Rhythm Festival's subscription plan this very month. There has been no desire in revamping the self-titled 'God Collection' series of songs as of late, but that doesn't stop original songs from drawing into mythological pantheons every now and then, with 'Morpho' being part of the Greek word 'metamorphosis' (which also doubles as the song's arcade FC title) and the word in of itself -standing for 'beauty'- more than often being accociated with Aphrodites, the Greek goddess of love, across epic literature and oral-tramanded retellings!

Everything from lyrics to arrangement/trackdown/guitar playing was done by the same Mifumei, with  the actual singing being instead performed by an artist which -and I quote- made the composer "fall in love at first sight": the nick-named cono (Linktree), female lead of the six-hands unit EGOCLUB. It's becoming some of an underground trend for a few artists related to original music in Taiko to come to the nearest game center and share the launch day first-try on their song in question on SNS, but it surely doesn't happen every day for all artists in multi-hands-made tracks, sharing the (playable) love of their own creation! This was the case of Morpho among many, with both Mifumei and cono sharing their first go at their own song online.

Just as the godly connections might infer, even without the top-billing Oni difficulty to boot there's its charting to be feared and revered. Or, in layman's term, everybody gangsta until a Kat-leaning coumpound cluster amalgamation with little to no rest spots breaks out! Sure, it might help for some to approach longer clusters by starting with a Kat hit on the non-dominant hand, but the hybrid 1/24 spikes at the start and at the very end might get a toll on accuracy if the hitting speed isn't tuned accordingly.
