After a teaser tweet showing a bunch of blacked-out Petit Chara silouhettes this past Sunday, earlier today it was revealed how the next Vocaloid-related event to happen is none other than a music game collaboration joint!
The news came from a Project Sekai live YT broadcast that was aired earlier today (clipped-out portion, courtesy of Discord user jorj), discussing the stretch of the Taiko-related content landing there.

In short, the smartphone-friendly game will host a 2-months themed event -running from February 21st to April 21st- in which three songs premiering in Taiko no Tatsujin will be made playable, each debuting in three different days. Bear in mind that these are all planned to be time-limited inclusions, so if you're eager to play Saitama 2000, the infamous 'movie version' of Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu and Yuugen no Ran, you gotta act fast!
Project Sekai players, however, can still nab a Taiko-themed permanent unlock by progressing during the event, in form of the two drum siblings as a fashionable avatar headpiece.
The collaboration talk ended with something that was also shared on the official Taiko SNS: the promise of collaboration news on the Taiko isle being revealed in the upcoming 25th anniversary livestream, currently scheduled to air on February 20th. See you there!
