Namco Taiko Blog (March 7th, 2024) - A License FOCUS-ed Spring Nijiiro Update

Welcome all, once again, to a look-from-the-next-day coverage on the most recent development blog update! While the anticipated Women's Day rides into the sunset once more, let's see what's in storm for the arcade Taiko front...

-) Taiko no Tatsujin Donder Station @ Kyoto: Now Open!
Bandai Namco has been really eager into opening new Taiko-branded spaces all across Japan, and the latest entry to this banging roster is shaped to be the most straightforward Taiko game center yet!

Opened from today (March 8th), the Bandai Namco Cross Store of Kyoto will host a dedicated 'Donder Station' in order to have fun with the latest arcade models (8 cabinets of them!) in a Taiko-themed atmosphere to boot. Some of the upcoming Real Ranking Dojo rounds will be hosted here as well, so there's even more of an incentive to come along, if you're passing by on such times! Today's blog entry alsoshared this Donder Station's overall structure, alongside a snap from its former WIP state.

-) FOCUS ON Nijisanji Single Collaboration - Round 2

Hot from the collaborational debut from last month, another trio of Nijisanji talents will be available on Japanese and worldwide Nijiiro arcades as the performers of three Namco Original from the past. This time around, the tune/singer combos involved are:
All three tracks are getting added to the collaboration folder on March 14th, a day which will leave all interested party with something else on their hands...

-) March 2024 Nijiiro Version Update - New Tracks

Indeed, as it turns out, Nijiro Version's first update of its ongoing 5-year-tenure is dropping at a similar time! More specifically, Japan will receive the update one day earlier (March 13th), while non-Chinese arcades will get the update the day after, with some of the added songs and events being profiled both before and after these very lines and some licensed content possibly coming at a later time in broader areas.
