[Site] - Song Series Showcase Updates, NS2 Unlock Page Status, and...

Hi there! It's been a while since one of these, isn't it? For 2022's end, there's something more brewing from our end, which I'm disclosing with this brief post here, in no particular order:
  • In the upcoming weeks, we'll be phasing out the old grid formats in the Song Series Showcase pages, while also updating those with new songs in the meantime. We're projecting one Showcase update per week (usually live on Sundays) with priority to the ones with new song entries to be covered, and we'll be announcing the updated pages over the Discord channel as those go live.
  • Updates to other current stuff are also being worked on, most prominently the Taiko Nijiiro songlist and the Dokodon/Rhythm Festival pages. With little to no online markdown of the latest game's unlockables, the unlock page is taking up a lot (and I mean, a LOT) of time to complete, but it's coming up the same, albeit in a transitionary 'Work-in-Progress' status. I might explain further why is that here, but perhaps what the next point leads to might be handy on that...
  • After years of watching assorted English reviews of Taiko media and my fellow blog contributors experiencing varying shades of... let's just say disgruntlement, I've decided to throw my hat in and give it a chance! The Taiko Experiment will be a new post format I'll be trying on the side, in which I'll have the tricky task of deciding whether or not a Taiko game (from past or present times) deserves to be played or not, in line with the other semi-contemporary releases of the time. These more tongue-and-cheek pieces don't aim to be your average super-cereal reviews, but instead a more insightful glance at what a Taiko game offers on launch and if it's got a considerable replay value overall. The first one should be mid-November, and about the really recent Rhythm Festival, too!
Oh, and before I forget, you may want to keep an eye on our Discord's Announcements channel next Sunday- the year's almost over, after all...
