Namco Original Revival Poll Results

Tallying the over 4000 responses for the Namco Original Revival Poll held across April-May 2022, Hikari no Kanate e has won Donders' hearts to come out on top. Relive the emotional battle between Don-chan and Alumi-chan on the HD arcade, coming soon to the this autumn's Don Medal Shop.

Music Recruitment 2022 Selection Results

The Taiko Team has sorted through over 500 entries for the third music recruitment exercise for the 4th-generation held across May-June 2022, and picked out eleven works with great potential to be added to the game.

This exercise boasts the addition of the "First-time Recruit" slots, guaranteeing some chance for new faces versus the veterans. Surprisingly, ten out of eleven winning tracks are "First-time Recruit".

The full results announcement (including comments from the judge panel, and runner-up tracks that garnered praise from the judges but sadly didn't make the cut) will come later.

The Mirai Komachi Interlude

Nijiiro ver. 2022/07/27 Version Update

The section is teasing the upcoming 2022/07/27 version update to Taiko no Tatsujin Nijiiro ver. with the following six well-known licensed picks leading the hype.

A Midsummer Night's Eel (once again) and other Nijiiro Reminders

The heat is also a reminder for the occurrence of the Doyou no Ushi no Hi (土用の丑の日, July 23 for 2022), a day of eel-eating in Japanese traditions. The track of this seasonal happening will return to Nijiiro ver. between 2022/07/23~09/23.

Remember that limited-time tracks on Nijiiro ver. will not be listed on the Donder Hiroba, cannot be use for tournaments or challenge gauntlets, and will not count to crowns totals and score rank totals on the Overall Results Panel.

Q&A Corner

Donders asked them and Etou and Kimizu has answers! Topics discussed today include Title Parts Gacha, World Championships 2021, Denonbu tie-in and Ranking Dojo changes in 2022.

In particular, one (or more) Donder has professed the love to the navigator of AI Battle Performance mode with "Why is Machina-chan so cute?", which evolved into a showcase of scrapped concept designs before the team settled on the well-loved look now:

Etou and Kimizu shares the air-time with the Taiko no Tatsujin series as a whole:

Ranking Dojo 2022 (Part 2) Teasers

The final noteworthy segment is the teaser of upcoming series-debut tracks to be used in the final trials of Ranking Dojo 2022. The tracks will be added to Nijiiro ver. "weekend warrior" style between late August and early September, with an Ura Oni mode planned for each but getting released at a later date.

A 4th song has also been teased to debut with the Ranking Dojo's latter-half release, but nothing but a passerby mention of it existing was provided.
