With this just-starting month, the ongoing Nintendo Switch Taiko game now features more than a song per day between the base song list, the monthly mission unlock tunes and the ever-growing DLC catalog!
It's a cause for SotW celebration with one of its many debut tracks from there, wouldn't you agree?

wavybb (Wavy Baby)
We've seen how the Nintendo Switch Version/Drum 'n' Fun's DLC outlet has served to mark the return of several returning artists (mostly from past contest winners), but complete newcomers to the music gaming scene can also be found in many of its original creations, including this very tune!
The speedy Wavy Baby is fully created (composition, lyrics, arrangement, vocals- the works!) by the independent composer Monaka Hinata (陽当モナカ; Twitter, personal website), one nicknamed artist who has been in activity since the early 2000s. Composing musing from the very early age of 13, Monaka Hinata's musical spectrum ranged from rock/techno to new wave and psychedelic-oriented musical genres, with his early school-years carreed made of musical contest victories and the founding of many short-lived bands: 2003's Navona.FV, 2006's Preglico (プレグリコ) and 2011's THE Applications (THEアプリケーションズ), after which he decided to pursue a solo commissioned career since 2013's latter end. This solo branch proved to be fruitious across the years as the songwriter for the most acclaimed piece of Windows95man in 2017 and another couple of acts the year after (SOLEIL and Juicy Fruits), while being the origanized of the multimedia project OKOME'tic since 2019.
At the start of the year 2021, Monaka Hinata has moved his first step into rhythm gaming as well, with the quirky original composition that can be played above these very lines. No more fitting description than 'Babby's first Koibumi 2000 Oni play' can be stickied to its hardest playable notechart, as mono-color clusters pave to way to more and more brutal pure 1/16 pattern formation that harken back to passages of the infamous Linda AI-CUE treat of Taiko past!
