Almost two years after the last physical Taiko soundtrack album (discounting the super-limited Sorairo soundtrack), a new mini-album will be released next month, simply called "Taiko no Tatsujin Original Soundtrack". Want to know about its content?
As the album art clearly gives away, the tracks being featured are three very recent Namco Originals: MOES's Tokyo Tokkyo Kyo Kyokakyoku Kyokucho!! and the two songs featuring unmo as the singer (Jikuu Chou Jikuu 1-Ka and Sotsu Omeshiki). The three tunes featured in the album will be available in four different variations: the normal versions, mixed with the sounds of their Muzukashii and Oni charts, and instrumental versions for karaoke fans! This is also the first Taiko album to be released under a different label (CLARICE instead of the usual Columbia).
The album will be released on March 29th for 1000 Yen. All the first edition copies of this album will come bundled with a special Don-chan Coaster!
All the albums will also feature a booklet with the songs' lyrics and -for the first time in a Taiko soundtrack- comments from the creators of the three songs about their creation!
We will feature this album's songlist in a separate blog entry, which will be added to this blog's Others section. For the sake of convenience, since the album's intended 'official title' is too long for the listing ('Taiko no Tatsujin Original Soundtrack' and the names of the three songs appended to it), this album will be quoted on this site as 'Taiko no Tatsujin Official Soundtrack - March 2014'.
