Before being in the arcade, Amanda was one of very few new Namco Originals on Taiko no Tatsujin 3DS, and the only one among them that does not have to be unlocked. Amanda is the first, full instrumental track made for Taiko games by Japanese composer bermei_inazawa, the artist name for Koichi Murakami (村上恒一). The song is the second bermei_inazawa track on Taiko (excluding the Chata series), preceded by Taiko PSP DX's Kurukuru Kurokkuru and followed by Taiko Wii U's Theme of Alexander.
Born in Yokohama on July 1979, this freelance composer has worked together with several artists in his 16 years of experience (like Chata and anNina) for many projects, ranging from video game music (with some tracks for DJMAX and beatmania) to Anime music, most notably for the Clannad series. Currently associated with studioCampanella (link), bermei_inazawa has made quite a number of songs for Namco's drumming franchise, and all three of his songs have been console debuts. Aside from his blog page on studioCampanella, he also has a Twitter account (link).
Amanda is slow, but the music has a tricky rhythm. A lot of the chart is 2 and 4 note clusters and they scroll slowly, easily confusing players, while the middle portion is where 1/12 and 1/24 clusters become bothersome. Basic handswitching skills is recommended if you're aiming for that Full Combo.
