Since this update is adding almost ten more songs to the arcade build, we're reporting the newest additions during the day through an update post. Be sure to come back here to see what's new!
10 updates and counting.
10. The two Rewards Shop revivals in the Game Music category both see star rating changes for Oni mode (from 9 to 8), with URBAN FRAGMENTS's Futsuu rating also being changed (from 5 to 4 stars).
9. According to some users from wikihouse, it looks like the Rewards Shop update added four hidden songs from previous Taiko games: Classic tune Toccata and Fugue and Rock, Game Music tracks URBAN FRAGMENTS and Knuckle Heads and Namco Original Kuon no Yoru. Updated star rating information will be reported when videos will be available.
8. The song Yumeiro Coaster, one of the new Rewards Shop items, has its Oni lowered from 9* to 8*. Kimi no Akari (and Ura)'s ratings remain untouched.
7. Say, do you remember that recent Idolm@ster song called Honey Heartbeat? It looks like this software upgrade added to this tune a 10-star Ura mode, featuring sneaky clusters and troll speed-ups! In the same fashion of Venomous, this Ura Oni has the same notecount of the regular Oni (765).
6. First video of Eccentric w (3/4/6/8), GingahoumenP's winning Vocaloid song in the Taiko division from last year's ZOLA PROJECT contest. The Oni mode has 692 notes.
5. First video of V (Volt) (2/3/6/8; Papa Mama support on Kantan), the latest opening for the Pokemon X/Y anime series. It's been so long since we last saw an 8* chart for a Pokemon song! 450 notes on Oni.
4. First video of Geragerabo no Uta (3/4/5/7; Papa Mama support on Kantan), the opening theme of Level-5's Yokai Watch anime series. We have yet another 7* Oni challenge with about 300 notes (329).
3. First video of JUST LIVE MORE (2/3/5/7; Papa Mama support on Kantan), Kamen Rider Gaim's opening theme. Its 7* Oni mode bears 324 notes.
2. First video of Koisuru Fortune Cookie (3/4/6/7), AKB48's first song to be featured on Taiko games as a cover version. 529 notes for its Oni mode.
1. The subtitles of the two returning Touhou songs have been changed since their debut on Sorairo as promotional songs, now featuring the songs' creators: for Night of Knights it's "Touhou Project Arrange Beat Mario", while for Bad Apple!! feat. nomico is "Touhou Project Arrange Alstroemeria Records".
