First Video - Taiko Tokaigi Album's Exclusive Content

Courtesy of Youtube user N Hui (N 会), we already have video recordings of the latest limited album's extra content! Above is the voice-only version of Soroban 2000, featuring only the background dialog between the three daring challengers of the fictional Soroban 2000 quiz arcade, complete with some sound effects.

Above instead is the prototype version of Sotsu Omeshiki, the first one in the School Matters song series. Unlike previous prototype versions, this one feels more closer to a 1st time rough copy than the actually-complete song, as this one is mostly made by chiptune sounds and no lyrics.

Always from the same Youtube user, we can also confirm that !!!Chaos Time!!! is in the album as well (video), so only 4 songs are left for confirmation.

Taiko Plus Shinkyoku Tori Houdai - Out Now!

Coming out of the blue, the much-anticipated Google Play-friendly app finally got its Version 1.0.0 release! For those who are interested to see if their smartphone is compatible with the game, we forward you to the app's Google Play page.

Now that the game is up, we can safely state that Taiko Plus Shinkyoku Tori Houdai is -to all effects- and Android Version of the i-device exclusive app Taiko Plus, as every single song, song pack and service/modes (Lottery for tones/outfits, Uras, Gakkyoku Tori Houdai, ...) from the Taiko Plus app is available on Plus Shinkyoku Tori Houdai. This also includes the bonus perks from the just-ended Taiko Plus score attack for the Tokaigi '16!

Taiko Tokaigi 2016 Album's Content

Another highlight of the past Taiko presentation at the Tokaigi '16 was the release of the limited soundtrack album AkeOme!!!+SotsuOme (アケオメ!!!＋そつおめ), only available during the aforementioned event.

Taiko Plus - February 2016's New GTH Songs and Tokaigi Score Attack Results

With the new month's coming, Taiko Plus got some minor news update about the Gakkyoku Tori Houdai subscription service's new songs and the Niconico-themed contest finally coming to a close.

In short, the aforementioned GTH is hosting three more songs from today: Sugar Song to Bitter Step, Jinpuumaru (with Ura) and OLA!!!. As the picture below testifies, the third Score Attack event ended as a complete success, with every milestone goal broken and every player receiving free wallpaper/themes/outfit/songs on a later date.

[RANDOM] - FUJIN Rumble's Remix

...Again, we're not going to turn the blog into 'Groove Coaster Time' or something, but we thought that this additional piece of soundtrack information might be relevant for Taiko grounds as well!

On March 30th, the Groove Coaster series is having its first soundtrack compendium sequel to their original 2+1 album, under the title of Groove Coaster Original Soundtrack Boost. Among all the new original tracks coming from both the current arcade installment (GC 2 Heavenly Festival) and its future sequel (GC 3 Link Fever), there also are some added bonuses to the compilation, such as a FUJIN Rumble remix titled FUJIN Rumble (tpz Overheat Remix). As if the 'tpz' isn't enough of a hint, this remix will be made by t+pazolite, who's currently one of the most prolific external composers for Taito's currently running rhythm game series.
