The first VOCALOID4-born voice bank to be introduced to the Taiko no Tatsujin series, Mirai Komachi (ミライ小町) is the first Vocaloid to be created by one of Bandai Namco's branches (Bandai Namco Studio), publicly released on May 24th, 2018 and distributed by YAMAHA Corporation.Mirai Komachi, according to her official English product page, was originally developed as an in-company tool, made to "showcase and demo BANDAI NAMCO Studio’s game development technology and cutting-edge technological research"; as such, her public release bosters the least amount of general/marketing-related trivia among all Vocaloids about her digital persona, with several details (such as Mirai's voice provider) being still kept a secret to this very day. What is known about this digtal idol today are some of her preferences (cats and carrots) and the fact that 'Mirai Komachi' (lit. 'Future Beauty') is actually her nickname rather that her actual (and still unknown) one.
Mirai Komachi is quite the notable inclusion in Taiko gaming, as it has been the very first Vocaloid whose playable debut occurred on console grounds instead of the more common arcade room debut of digital performers from the silver-colored song genre.
