Being the next home console Taiko game's launch day, today the Taiko Team feels very generous in the news department by unveiling part of what is shaping to be one of the most content-packed pre-release livestreams to date!
The first big thing to be revealed is already being partially spoiled by the banner at the top of this page: special guests! This time around we'll see six of them, talking about their most recent Namco Original creations and perhaps some of the new songs coming into White Version.
First off, we have the two girls of the Tanqun Democracy unit, whose latest contribution to Taiko gaming was the Namco Original track Natsumono☆. Right after them, there's newcomer Taiko contributor HONOKA, whose first song -Love Fantasy- is coming on White Version as one of the new debut Namco Original tracks.
For another duo of female special guests we'll have Sariya-jin (last heard on Namco Original Zero no Nocturne on Murasaki Version) and Haruka Momoi, returning to the Taiko scene with her old Tobikkiri! Anime Special contribution (Wonder Momoi) and the incoming J-Pop track I my moko from the recently-released album Stay Gold.
Last but not least, we'll have Synchronica-related composer Taku Inoue, who may or may not have something else planned for Taiko arcades in the very next future...
A rough schedule for the "yearly 6+ hours length" livestream is also defined, starting with the first hour of random chatting with the Taiko Team and with the guest appearances opening the "real deal" portion of the livestream. We'll also hear more about the Taiko arcade tourney of next year, as well as (obviously) details of White Version arcades. On the console side of things, the next DLC contents planned for the most recent Taiko games (V Version and the neo-released Atsumete Tomodachi Daisakusen) is also on the menu! The Synchronica portion will kick in near the end with the reveal of the second collaboration with Taiko no Tatsujin, and then there's the "Waiting White Version's Release" portion from midnight until the next morning.
Of course, a livestream with the Team can't be the same without a comments challenge! The one set for the December broadcast will have 4 goals, from 10.000 to 76.500 comments.
There's too much content left to talk about for the livestream, so Eto will return next week to communicate the last details, together with the comment challenge's rewards and (possibly) the link to reach the Nicovideo livestream.
