Don-chan takes part in Japanese anti-piracy campaign
A small event held on November 1, 2013 in Akihabara, Tokyo by the Association of Copyright for Consumer Software, in association with the Manseibashi Crime Prevention Agency (a.k.a the cops) to put up banners and issue a stern warning against software piracy. Akihabara, being one of the largest hubs in the world for digital entertainment, is also no stranger to traders peddling pirated games, CDs and flashcards.
Though, it seems games are the main order of the day as Felyne, the cat character from Capcom's Monster Hunter series and Namco's very own Don-chan turned up to support the campaign. A few more pictures can be found here.
Though I have to say, the era of flashcards being widely available has fizzled out for some time, with 3DS and Vita being "unpirateable" as of yet, and the very few exceptions to the rule are not openly released to the public.
