Song of the Week! 4 March 2023

This ending week, on the Taiko fandom side of things, we have seen the effective closure of Wikihouse, arguably the biggest Japanese fan wiki about the Taiko no Tatsujin series as a whole, with a great bulk of its content being relocated by volunteers on the Wikiwiki platform (currently active at this link).

Seeing as we've always been avid browsers of its ever-developing branches for a great bulk of our English-based blog's content and apparel across the years, I've decided to give its former digital house a proper sendoff, by featuring some of the songs from the freshly-released School Graduation playlist from the ongoing Donderful/Rhythm Festival. Here's to a swift graduation towards a wiki just as valuable as the original one!

[NS2] - Springing Into EDM: March 2023 Taiko Music Pass Updates

A new mass batch of Taiko Music Pass songs is inching in, and right on top of Lokamp's favourite day to celebrate on the Internet! (Writer's Note: yaaaaaay...)

The Miku-powered Vocaloid share, however, is just 1/8 of the whole package on display, as the Pops genre's console front scores both a subscription first and a general series first in Dance Hall, possibly Ms.Green Apple song, but with no-artists-credited covers it's always hard to tell beforehand. What we can tell for sure is that another early 2000s piece of Namco arcade legacy is getting its Taiko debut in medley form, alongside the contest-trumping YOAKE enjoing its first home console foray. The same Miku song we mentioned is somewhat new too, as it's a cover of a GUMI song Taiko gaming already had for years!

Song of the Week! 25 February 2023

Caving up on the vtuber craze once again, now that we've gone though all the Hololive silliness! Once again, however, it may not be the "Letsplay+Music" kind of vtuber you'd be familiar about...

If you caught up on our Twitter feed, you already knew the following since yesterday but the news are officially being spread by actual Bandai Namco feeds: arcade Taiko no Tatsujin is officially checking off another continent from the list!... on location test grounds, to the very least.
