Song of the Week! 12 May 2018

Today's double feature came to be so that I could add some more links to our Jumbo Brand corners on our blog. Let's go!

Again the other four unaffected songs are now individually sold at the taxed price of 162 yen price each effective from May 3 2018.

Song of the Week! 5 May 2018

Today, I want to talk about Vocaloid stuff! ...kinda ...sorta ...not really...

Taiko no Tatsujin Original Soundtrack: Yaki-toumorokoshi

Golden Week is boring with most Japanese makers taking the week off, but Namco/Clarice Disc apparently left something for us, albeit probably unintended?

Found by wikihouse commenters on a stray Amazon entry, the next of the eight-soundtrack project is to be subtitled Yaki-toumorokoshi (やきとうもろこし, lit. roast corn) set for a June 13 release. The official description mentions a "wide selection across the expansive Asian soundscape" and also long versions of popular songs and arrangements from the Game Music Triangle. No jacket or track list available for now though.

First Video: NO DOUBT

NO DOUBT (1/2/4/7; 411 notes on Oni)

The last of the IDOLiSH7 songs for Blue Version arcades, NO DOUBT features a dedicated set of fixed custom dancers and a 7-star Oni mode, mostly integrating small cluster-oriented sections in a backbeat-based, pure 1/16 notechart.

[Taiko Plus] - GTH Update / May 1st, 2018

On this year's May 1st ring out three events: the Japanese Golden Week's start, the Workers' Day holiday in many Western countries and a new song lot delivery for the Taiko Plus apps.

Gakkyoku Tori Houdai Adds: May 1
 Love Forever
 Zenryoku Batankyu (全力バタンキュー)
