First Visual Leaks from Dokodon! Mystery Dungeon

Thanks to the work of wikihouse.com users from the Taiko no Tatsujin section, we now know that yesterday a livestream was aired somewhere on Nicovideo, featuring some songs from the next Taiko console game. Up there, for example, we can see that the Phoenix Wright 123 Medley has a 5-star Futsuu.

Surprisingly enough, the hosts have had the occasion to see some of the future DLC content as well! Up here, for example, is PERFECT HUMAN, rated 4 stars on Muzukashii and 8 on Oni.

It's also interesting to know that the Shin-Uchi modifier will make its debut on Nintendo titles with this entry! When selected, the traditional label will appear and the song grid will turn grey.

First Video: Yomi no Izanami and V Version's Last Warriors

Yomi no Izanami (黄泉のイザナミ) (4/6/7/8; 876 notes on Oni)

New songs are on our way, and since today's second Taiko Team blog entry (which we're currently in the process of its translation) is all about this song, it's natural for us to feature the 5th God Collection track first. This 5-people work can be easily compared in difficulty terms to Megamina Sekai II, as both songs are quite long with a relatively high note count and a tempo change near the end that is reflected into the song's notechart.

After the jump are V Version's very last new additions, brought to us by the final DLC pack.

Namco Taiko Blog (2 June 2016) - Taiko no Tatsujin at World Hobby Fair '16 Summer

With this year's WHF Summer edition, Taiko gaming is returning on two different fronts! Today's first Taiko Team blog entry is all about it.

Sonority Scouts - Dragon Coaster

As anticipated from last Monday, here's the Dragon Spirit Medley's latest rhythm gaming venture with the Groove Coaster series. With its hard mode rated 8 (out of 10), you can also enjoy some top-down visual action, like if you were in the actual Dragon Spirit game!

The most keen of listeners may also notice that this is a slightly shorter cut of the song from the one that has been used in Taiko gaming.

3DS3 Update: Preload the Game and Trial Version

First off, the official 3DS3 site is updated on May 27 with Story Mode Chapter 2 introduction and Namco Original and Classical picks in the song list, i.e. zero news for us. Moving on.

Now that we are two weeks away from release, maybe you are starting to look for trial versions. Good news do we have brought you today, because the trial version for 3DS3 will be released on the Nintendo eShop on June 15, one full day before the actual release. The trial version will let you play some of the Mystery Adventure mode along with some of the songs.

And if you are thinking to pick the game up via the wireless network, consider charging your eShop account early because you can purchase the download version and have it preloaded starting today (June 1). Preloading the game lets you have some of the data downloaded beforehand over these few days, and reduce the final downloading time on release date.

The rest of the below-linked post is just more about the already-known attracting points of the brand new game.
