Namco Taiko Blog (2 June 2016) - Taiko no Tatsujin at World Hobby Fair '16 Summer

With this year's WHF Summer edition, Taiko gaming is returning on two different fronts! Today's first Taiko Team blog entry is all about it.

As anticipated during the last livestream, this fair will see the World Championship 2016 Finals for the Elementary and Under division. Before that, however, there's one last chance for the youngest WHF attenders to join the competition! On June 25th, it'll be possible to join a last-day Qualifying Tournament in order to fill the last remaining seat of the actual Finals, which will be held at the WHF the day after.

About the Finals event, it's also important to know in advance that all contestants will be divided in two block divisions, according to prefecture location: East and West (which also includes the WHF-qualified player). The event will be settled down by a match between the best players of both divisions, both of which will also be invited to join the other WCS '16 Finals event of July afterwards!

For everyone who joins in both the E- Qualifiers and the Finals, there also are promotional fans about the tourney and the incoming Taiko Red Version.

The WHF will also have a corner where people can try out the latest console game in the franchise, Dokodon! Mystery Adventure. The first players will also be gifted a promo nametag like the one shown below.
