2nd Nippon Columbia Taiko Contest: Song Entries Now Live!

In a faster fashion than the last one's development, a couple of weeks into the latest Taiko no Tatsujin song contest and we're already up to publicly hear the first submissions! Since yesterday, two pages of song entries have been filled up for everyone to lend a hear to by going on the contest's dedicated section of its website (or by clicking here!); like in the last year, you can also toggle between Japanese and English language on the upper-right corner to see the website version (and the affected song/artist naming) of your choosing.

Once again, we'll be making the rounds as pages get added on, by spotlighting a few of the new additions after everu website update! Already with the first round of submission, we can find the following:
  • Formidable Festa (フォーミダブル・フェスタ) by LeNoir, from the very last Nippon Columbia competition. Fresh of his victory with La Paz no Niji, will he be able to double up with his latest endeavor?
  • VLASTOPiΛ -Xtradoze-, by Reku Mochizuki. Here's a UK/J-Core artist whose works already touched many a mobile music game, including the likes of RAVON, Lanota, Muse Dash and Phigros; if things go well for him, this might become his music game arcade debut!
  • Dash!!! by Aiba Makoto (相葉まこと), breaking into the competition with a jazz-fusion piece to boot. Judging from his social feeds between Twitter and SoundCloud, this seems to be quite the Japanese RPG fan, too!
  • Spooky Dance Party (スプーキィダンスパーティ) by seatrus, another mobile gaming meteor artist who also managed to break into SOUND VOLTEX's overall score with his contest-winning Komorebi ni Saku. Still, many foreign music-game-winning composers have went in the past and very few have emerged triumphant, so it's still anybody's game!
