solstr (Solitude Star)
One of Session de Dodon ga Don's ongoing DLC exclusives, Solitude Star is an eight-hands, dual-vocals track whose makers (minus one) all made their Taiko debut with the piece! Starting with the subtitle-quoted artists we have the nicknamed beet of no (current) Internet presence to talk about and Harusaki (Twitter; YouTube channel) as the two composers/singers of the song, with the latter also posting the official song video on YouTube which, however, was put as a private upload at some point (link). At the instrumental/arranging side, on the other hand, we have Kikuo Sato (佐藤希久生), a guitarist/composer currently affiliated to the VOICE PLUS talent agency whose Kimi ga Kureta Natsu by Leo Ieiri already made the rounds of console Taiko gaming in the past. Finally, although uncredited in this one talent's official website works, we have Meko Yamamoto (山本メーコ; Twitter) as the lyricist, also involved in the past for a couple of image songs for the fictional Irorimidori unit from Sega's CHUNITHM: Prism (プリズム) and Polka Dots (ポルカドット).
This fierce tune packs in one nasty 2-stanzas-long cluster that is repeated four times for its Oni mode, but if your drumming execution goes slightly faster on the 2nd half while keeping in mind the slight handswitching shenanigans involves, tackling the rest of the mostly-1/16 chart should ring more true to a feat of stamina rather than cluster-hybridatiuon shenanigans. Mind that 1/12 spacing halfaway through, though!
