First Video: (Belated) Summer Festival

Real life can catch up real fast... which usually for us means a less-timely post update ratio... but at last we're here with latest arcade newcomers!

The crown jewel of the batch, of course, is the continuing coming-of-age story of one really popular Taiko-licensed hit since its early beginnings, now offered in its original version and geared up with note-denser Oni challenges to boot. [NS1] Say Yes to the Pops: Nintendo Switch Version's August 2021 DLC

Speculate all you want about the sudden focus on individual DLC tracks instead of packs for Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version after three years, but you can't stop August 2021's addition of K-POP and J-POP picks (and everything in between).

Having taken a hiatus in 2020 due to whatever reason, the celebration of the summery happening of Doyou no Ushi no Hi (土用の丑の日, July 28 for 2021) is back on arcade Taiko no Tatsujin, and the first time on 4th-generation infrastructure! This time, the period to play the track is lengthened to two months (2021/07/28~09/28), giving no hurry to catch the limited appearance.

In the Donder Hiroba announcement (that we finally have access to), more points to note has been given:

• This track will not be listed in Donder Hiroba's list of tracks.
• You cannot use this track for tournaments or challenge gauntlets on the Donder Hiroba.
• Your crowns and score ranks from this track will not be counted in the Overall Results Panel.

No, I am not going to repeat that opening this time; you can relive the joke by revisiting the five previous times that we did.
