We've got many a sudden-song-debut notice from the Taiko Team's official blog pending a few days away... but rarely we get to report of a song release announcement that's happening on the very same day!

 

As you will see, there's also a valid reason behind it...

This surprise newcomer for the Pops genre was made possible due to the public announcement of the Taiko no Tatsujin franchise's 20th Anniversary ambassador: Naoto 'Soshima' Sasaki (佐々木 直人) from the Japanese manzai comedy duo Shimofuri Myojo (霜降り明星).

 

The comedian is expected to pop up in a number of ways across the Taiko series' 20th year, starting with the release of this one song, also slated to appear on both Nintendo Switch Version/Drum 'n' Fun! and Taiko Plus Shinkyoku Tori Houdai on the same day (not sure why Oni is rated ★9 in NS1 though). This last tidbit has been reported on the ambassador's own page in the 20th Anniversary promo website (link), alongside a redirect to Ransu Chosei no Reverse Cinderella's official MV, hosted on YouTube.

From the short blog entry, we also got the extra info tidbit of its 10-star Ura Oni being charted by the very same Soshina... now you know who's behind the devilishly-delightful ideas of the 7-offbeat-Kat notes pre-Go-Go Time and the final low-scrolling portion!
