Together with the Synchronica series, there's one more music game trope related to the Taiko no Tatsujin brand that is going to be shut down this year; that appears to be the series' most prominent way to have mutual track sharings with external franchises, under the guise of the recurring Tenkaichi Otogesai tournament.
Indeed, according to the JAIA document above that was shared on the Internet some weeks ago, the Tenkaichi Otogesai branding is being discontinued, in order to make room for arcade tournaments of different genres for the arcade operator circle. While this course of action won't rule out the possibility of future song crossovers within arcades found in the JAIA-conventioned game centers in the future, that's one relevant series of tournaments walking the way of the dinosaurs...
