Salty opening because I was clickbaited into some random video because it says leaked Onigiri wa Doko Kashira while researching for this post. Those are coming this Friday, not today. I need to sooth myself with the licensed picks added to default right today.
海の声 Umi no Koe (2/3/5/6, 261 notes on Oni) (video in Baizoku)
At 76 BPM it is one of those very slow songs that probably could feel better with Baizoku on like the video did, if you are one of the people cannot process slowness as good. No surprises at all other than this.
動物戦隊ジュウオウジャー Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger (2/2/3/5, 217 notes on Oni)
The kid-friendly pick of the day has Papa Mama Support on Kantan and is in majority only in 8ths with isolated 16th triples, only coming in single-colored varieties.
一度だけの恋なら Ichido Dake no Koi Nara (3/5/5/7, 407 notes on Oni) (video may be muted)
Oh joy, another copyright-hurdled pick that we will have to stand muted videos. Notechart is regular ★7 fare with a decent focus on triples like kkd and some 5-hits towards the end for a finish.
一度だけの恋なら Ichido Dake no Koi Nara (543 notes on ★9 Ura Oni) (video may be muted)
一度だけの恋なら Ichido Dake no Koi Nara (543 notes on ★9 Ura Oni) (video may be muted)
And the copyright-hurdled pick has an Ura! And plus two stars means all those 24ths are coming out to play, plus more complexly mixed patterns in general than the regular Oni.
キミとボクのミライ Kimi to Boku no Mirai (3/4/5/6, 292 notes on Oni)
The bulk of this song update are addition of mobile game music, first being Granblue Fantasy, with some ties to the Final Fantasy series in staff talents, and allegedly kickstarted the whole gacha legislation fiasco in Japan just this April. Another mostly 8th with some isolated and easy 16th triples.
ソラのミチシルベ Sora no Michishirube (4/4/5/7, 339 notes on Oni)
More testy on your Taiko skills is the other Granblue Fantasy pick, which has more 16ths in amount and frequency, sometimes even back-to-back. A difficulty peak happens just after the first chorus with longer 2-2 streams that can kill Full Combos if you are not well-versed in high-★7 or medium-★8 fare.
Holding Hands (3/5/6/7, 397 notes on Oni)
Alluded by the titles are PazuDora returning with their multiplayer BGM selection. Obligatory comparison of this song/chart to A New Journey (also ★7) reveals similar densities and large-notes-between-clusters tendencies. Holding Hands has less hanging doubles than A New Journey though, so if that bothered you please feel relieved.
Unite The Force (2/4/7/8, 406 notes on Oni)
The only ★8 of the day is the second multiplayer BGM for PazuDora. It's similar to Kessen!! (also ★8) from the last wave of songs in the amount and density of 3-, 5- and 7-hit clusters and mixed streams, but with significantly more complex coloring. The run time is shorter though with only once the chrous.
