Not so surprise blog post as you should have seen this coming in yesterday postscript, but enough dawdle, because it's time for...
Taiko no Tatsujin Murasaki ver.
Version Up (Version 2.09) Notice!
So exciting we have to take out the enormous purple words! Check out the details after the jump!
This update will be a little different than the majority we had, as the updated content will be released in two batches. The first batch (A1~A3) will be open right after the update, and the second (B1~B2) will be open the following Tuesday on April 28.
Update A1. New Songs!
さぁ行け!ニンニンジャー! Saa Yuke! Ninninger!
「手裏剣戦隊ニンニンジャー」より from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger
...one song only? Of course not. They're saving the good stuff for the April 17 livestream. Have you cleared the slot from dates or timeshifted the show? Do that now!
Update A2. Ranking Dojo and Taiko School Returns!
Crashing all previous projections, the coveted pair of features to test your hand and hone your skills is returning ahead of time! Look for new challenge topics, the brand new intermediate Kurouto (玄人), Meijin (名人) and Choujin (超人) ranks, and generally more real-deal Taiko goodness!
And of course we are not graced with the very specifics for now. That is for the April 17 livestream. You really should be bookmarking the streaming site, you know.
Update A3. Tweaks and Changes!
A number of small adjustments to help you enjoy your game! When you reach the last song for your credit, the song number will turn red like this. A good thing to know when the queue rolls, and when to pick your hard songs (that you would likely fail so putting it at the last song).
I always want to be pummeled by Donkama 2000 on the arcade, and it looks like it's time!
(Also I am gonna find another place that has more than 2 songs per credit)
Update B1. Idolm@ster Collab Festival of Epic Proportions!
Mentioned multiple times here and there, the first legitimately collaborative event with Namco's signature idol franchise is coming. Also mentioned multiple times is that the details will be released at the April 17 livestream. Did I tell you to timeshift the show? Consider this another reminder no matter what.
Update B2. More Collabs! Nippon Elekitel Rengo
Oh no you don't, no no. This collaboration with the female comedy duo Nippon Elekitel Rengo (日本エレキテル連合) is going and you know it. Get costumes of the members Hosogai-san (細貝さん) and Akemi-chan (朱美ちゃん), and special collab Taiko sounds by playing any credit with a Banapassport (or equivalent) between April 28~August 31.
You wanna hear the Taiko sound first? You know the drill! Check out Etou's live performance with them in the April 17 livestream!
And if you still haven't catch the wind after all of that, the April 17 livestream will be jam-packed with news and goodies. Do make plans or timeshift for your personal enjoyment!
