Right after today's Taiko feature at the Tokyo Game Show, Taiko Wii U's website became active, also featuring the trailer above. Nothing new for the game is being mentioned here, except for some small details: in Baton Pass mode, if another player hits the buttons/drum when it's not their turn, the combo counter resets to zero, and confirming that Don-chan is no longer sprite-based (yes!).
Aside from that - again - is all stuff which was already seen, with the custom dancers for Super Mario, Golden Bomber, Momoiro Clover Z, ... Wait a minute?!?
That's right: the five-girl J-Pop band will be features as special dancers starting with Taiko Wii U's Momoiro Taiko Dodon-ga Bushi. Said collaboration song was played during the TGS presentation, with the play being recorded and put in the video above. Don-chan will also have five Momoiro Clover Z costumes in the game, one for each girl!
Not only do we now know the song's star ratings (3/4/5/6), but we have proof that the Taiko gameplay on Wii U will look exactly like the current arcade with the exception of the results screen and some parts before and after a game.
Last but not least, the Taiko Team itself confirmed the fact that this weekend, the Wii U game will be playable at the public opening of Tokyo Game Show. Let's hope we can see more information!
