Although they're not really birthday songs, Yusri Khairi has uploaded tons of new Taikojiro charts to his account, dedicated to the blog's 2nd anniversary! That's nice of him. Two of them are custom notecharts for Taiko Wii theme songs Popcorn Parade and Momoiro Taiko Paradise, and there are some Kirby BGMs in the mix too. Let's check out a few of them.
Momoiro Taiko Paradise gets a Ura style makeover, with the beginning spot all covered with notes and 1/6s thrown in for effect.
Popcorn Parade goes from being a slow song to a slow song with handswitch clusters. About 9* Oni according to him.
Here's Grass Land 3 from Kirby's Dream Land 3 on the SNES. Short song, this.
To check out the rest of his new uploads, they are all in Yusri's Youtube channel as usual. Now for two other charts which we've been putting off for some time. Packer's Bemani crossover notecharts!
Oarfish -Dubstep mix-. The original song is by kors k (Kosuke Saito) of Bemani. Very fun-looking chart with one freaky long drumroll; Taiko does very well with dubstep songs and others that have a lot of pounding rhythm to them. And it's way difficult too.
Okay this one is not a Bemani song but one from Hatsune Miku, called Tsubasa. Very long, since the full version is longer than 5 minutes. Want to play through the whole thing? It's not that hard, just jump in!
