Namco Taiko Blog (23 August 2012) - CreoFUGA Gumi contest results!

After the official Taiko Blog's week-long hiatus, Etou pops up to announce the end of the Megpoid GUMI contest hosted by CreoFUGA (announced at the beginning of the collab), which coincides with the electronic diva's 3rd birthday.

Lasting for an entire month, the "Gumi Music Contest - Winners Will be Included in the Game!-" (GUMI楽曲コンテスト~優秀作品はゲームへ収録!~) invited digital composers from all corners of the Internet to create songs with Megpoid Gumi's voice (any version of the software is accepted as long as it's Gumi). The four winners, aside from receiving professional music composing software and some Gumi merchandise, will be able to see their creations on Taiko no Tatsujin soon!

Here are the four winners of the contest! Unlike the previous CreoFuga contest, it's possible to listen to the winning songs before their Taiko release; just click on their names!

Ninjin Nin (にんじんにん), by Toyonaga Gonta P (豊永ごんたP)
Juukinzoku Fugitive (重金属フューギティブ), by Ryuitti (リューイッティ)
Kohi no Aji to (珈琲の味と), by Harunaba (はるなば)

There also are videos for most of the contest songs, which are all hosted on Nicovideo; one of those - from one of the winners - also features Etou as well! Click here to see all the other song videos for the Gumi contest.

The four songs should be heading to the arcade Taiko no Tatsujin sometime in the future, hinting at the possibility of other software upgrades for Katsu-Don in the future!
