Since our last glimpse at a potential version change for the Murasaki ver. arcade build, arcade equipment suppliers like this one have listed conversion kits for the said new version (simply "Taiko no Tatsujin December 2015 ver." here) in their catalogues, the deadline (Sept 25) matching our last scope well (tweeted Sept 13).
And just to remind all of the operators out there, no the new HD Taiko no Tatsujin does not work with the old Taiko no Tatsujin 14 machines. You have to get new machines to profit from the new arcade-targeting audience.
