...why is this image using the original 3rd gen. screen layout?
Following the previous teaser that news should come on January 27, the JAEPO 2020 Official Page for Bandai Namco Amusement has updated with small blurbs for each of the exhibiting games.
The Taiko no Tatsujin blurb (using Green ver. key visuals probably only because they have no other key visuals) finally officially confirms the March 2020 version, and that there will be trial cabinets to play some of the upcoming new songs like:

In addition, Number 11 and Etou will present all the new functionalities in a special stage show between 10:30-11:00* on February 8 (Public Day). A more formal presentation (shared with Fishing Spirits and crane machine Clena Hybrid) will be held on the Business Day (February 7) between 11:20-11:50 by Producer Kimizu. (have we let you know of the wide speculation that Number 11 may be ex-Synchronica producer Kimizu?)
A final reminder for today that given the recent worldwide spread of infectious diseases, please stay safe and be careful of personal hygiene if you are attending tightly packed events like JAEPO 2020.
