The update to Taiko no Tatsujin Plus Gakkyoku Tori Houdai subscription for September 2022 takes a different approach to keep up a health track record of breaking arcade exclusivity, by dipping into the Anime and Variety genres of 2nd-generation firmware.

Taiko no Tatsujin Donderful Festival/Rhythm Festival may be the most worldwide-focused title, given how almost all the pre-release tidbits are not of Japanese origin, not to mention the four additional languages on the official site's song list.

After the excursion to Anime Expo 2022, another pre-release build of NS2 is made limited appearance on the floors of Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong 2022 by the Taiwan/Hong Kong subsidiary of Bandai Namco Entertainment. bol from the Taiko no Tatsujin Discord has sneaked videos of two six of the new Ura Oni notecharts and the difficulty ratings of some of the new tracks.

The Japanese family YouTubers/TikTokers are having one of their ten original songs on Taiko no Tatsujin! As part of their reveal video, they are invited to the BNAM headquarters to play all four notecharts (to varying levels of success), including the Papa Mama Support-enabled ★2 Kantan.

ONE PIECE FILM RED Collaboration: 2022/08/06

After the two-phased spectacular that is the 100th Volume Collaboration, the rowdy gang of pirates are back to Taiko no Tatsujin for their latest theatrical release. While less on the visual extravagance, this campaign brings us one series-debut song and a new Ura Oni notechart to a ubiquitous classic.
