The last of the upcoming Ranking Dojo upper floors' remixed weekend warriors diverges from the established(ish) rule of remixing artists from former Ranking Dojo outings from the past. And unlike like last we got a song with vocals rearranged as a full-instrumental, here's a vocal arrangement of a chiptunes-only track!
BlackY and Risa Yuzuki, the couple who brought to us Rasen Shuukai Kidou and Emma via triumphal Taiko music recruitment contests at the wake of the arcade 3rd generation, is back as the commissioned duo behind resume:story. The shared sentiment of "delivering this emotional song with their own colors", as penned by the pluri-awarded otoge contest winner is enriched by the vocalist's higher-than-usual involvment for her first commissioned Taiko no Tatsujin job, from the lyrics body's making/delivery to adjustments to the arranged work's flow as a whole.
Only a weeks stands before us, and whatever delightful surprises this year's upper Ranking Dojo courses have in store for us...
